Who'll win the European Cup? Everyone expects us to know the answer!

There’s a sweepstake running in the office, for the winner of the European Cup. We had to pick the teams out of a hat with our eyes closed. As often happens with us, we were accused of cheating, like we just know who’s going to win and could magnetically charm the bits of paper in the hat into our magic hands. Couldn’t have worked though because Jemma picked Switzerland. But suspiciously I ended up with Croatia, who’re apparently quite good.

Sometimes we get asked to pick the winner of sporting events – once we were asked to do the horoscopes for all the rugby coaches in the Rugby World Cup, which was fun, and pretty accurate as it worked out. And another time we were asked to predict the winners of the England/Argentina game in the World Cup 2002 - and to name the winning goal scorer. We predicted England - and David Beckham - whose Mars (planet of action, sport and glory) was in a particularly favourable position in his horoscope. He also happened to be one of the only footballers we’d ever heard of, but that was just a coincidence.

Stay tuned for our Predictions on the football… we’re just working out the best method of divination. Crystal ball seems most appropriate at the moment.
