New beauty serum mimics snake venom

Could Rodial's new Glamoxy Snake Serum paralyse the effects of ageing?
In the war against ageing, some people will go to extreme lengths to hold back time. From Botox injections to going under the knife, these days the phrase 'beauty is pain' has never seemed more appropriate.
But would you smother your face in snake poison to stay youthful? Now you can try it. Beauty company Rodial have developed a product called Glamoxy Snake Serum, containing an ingredient called Syn-Ake, which is said to mimic the Asian Temple Viper's venom and give the effect of 'Botox in a bottle'.
While snake venom has had various uses throughout the history of healing and medicine - and has more recently been studied as a possible treatment for heart attacks and some forms of cancer - this is the first time it's properties have been used purely a beauty tool.
While there's a waiting list of 100,000 Brits waiting to try the new product, celebs such as Cheryl Cole, Victoria Beckham and Kate Moss are already rumoured to be fans.

If only Eve had known about the effects of snake venom back in The Garden Of Eden - we're sure she would've found a use for that pesky serpent!
