Ghost little girl
Imagine a ghost suddenly appearing in front of you as you're driving down a quiet country road, making you swerve out of the way and crash. It may sound like the stuff of ghost stories but it's precisely what's been happening on Oldnall Road in Halesowen, near Birmingham, as reported in the Metro. A chilling apparition of a young girl aged about five in Victorian dress is thought to be causing a series of car accidents.
Parasearch, West Midland paranormal investigators, have researched the phenomena and are yet to find a rational explanation. Chairman, David Taylor, has been a paranormal investigator for 22 years, he says, "Although the people who have reported the sightings didn't actually crash, they were close to it because they had to swerve around the apparition and up on to the pavement." He added, "Most of the time there is a logical explanation but, so far, I haven't found one for this case."
Resident Jimmy Lahn, 54, said, "We've had quite a few accidents on that road. I wouldn't be surprised if this ghostly figure has something to do with it. It is seen as a bit of an accident blackspot around these parts - and maybe now we know why."
