Conspiracy theories

Conspiracies are all the rage these days with some of the biggest blockbuster movies based around them. Just take the Matrix for example. There's nothing like a good conspiracy theory to get chins wagging. Try it next time you're at a dinner party. Ask them if they think the Matrix could really happen? I'll bet quite a few of the guests there will have an opinion on the subject.
That's why we have decided to get our columnist Chris Stone to bring us a new conspiracy theory every month, keeping you up to your elbows in the most intriguing conspiracy theories. Did the Moon landing really happen and what are the government keeping from us? Do aliens exist?
We'll kick it off in the September issue with the debate over aeroplane contrails (or chemtrails). These are supposedly the vapour trails from jet engines but are they something more sinister? Could they actually be a stream of toxic chemicals released into our skies in a conspiracy of goverment agencies altering the climate? Perhaps they are part of a depopulation programme, designed to wipe out some of the human race? Or maybe valium or prozac is being released into the atmosphere to zombify us!
The best thing about conspiracy theories is that there are so many opinions and so many possibilities to keep your mind ticking over. Feel free to leave your comments below about the weird and wonderful subjects you would like to see covered in this new column.
