Shedding light on the universe

An amateur astronomer has captured a series of stunning images of the universe from his garden shed that could put the Hubble Telescope to shame!
Welsh office worker Peter Shah, 38, from Meifod, Powys, spent £20,000 on equipment and cut a hole in his shed roof to set up a 20cm (8in) telescope.
"Most men like to potter about in their shed," says Peter, "but mine is a little more high-tech."
After months of waiting for clear skies and drinking coffee to keep himself awake at night, his images of the Milky Way Galaxy are said to rival those of the £2.5billion Hubble Space Telescope.
"It just goes to show that a window to the universe is there for all of us," says Peter.
