Ian Somerhalder talks vampires and ghosts

US actor Ian Somerhalder - who played Boone in Lost -
is now starring in a new series called The Vampire Diaries, on ITV2 on
Tuesdays, and admits that playing his latest character wasn't his first brush
with the world of the supernatural.

Ian, 31, who practices yoga and is labeled by friends
as "very spiritual", tells London's Metro newspaper: "I'm from the Deep South.
There's a lot of supernatural energy down there. There were a lot of deaths
during the Civil War. If you're open to it, you can feel it."
